The popular Badami mangoes are a fruit grown in India. Due to its more southern production, it ripens a little earlier than the widespread Alphonso Mango. The fruit has a light yellow, thin skin and the flesh has an attractive yellow-orange colour and is almost completely fibrous. The kernel is of medium thickness. The Badami Mango is deliciously sweet and juicy and exquisite in taste.

Benefits:
Mangoes are very nutritious despite their high sugar content. They owe this to vitamins C, E and B, including vitamin B1 and folic acid. These protect the immune system and keep cells from the negative effects of stress.

Note:
Please note that the outer peel of the mango may have some dark spots, but this is purely cosmetic and has no impact on the quality of the fruit inside. Keep them in a cool, dry place or in the refrigerator to prolong their shelf life.

Storage Use:
Mangoes can easily be stored at room temperature. The Badami mango can be used in a variety of ways, such as being cut and used to make shakes, juices and salads. This mango variety also tastes delicious in combination with ice cream and other desserts.
