Schani's Poha are pressed, flat rice flakes that are mainly used in Indian cuisine. The flakes easily absorb liquids and sauces and cook faster than normal rice. Poha is also part of the name of various Indian dishes and is often used in desserts or to prepare a popular breakfast dish.



Preparation recommendation: Poha is a popular dish from Central and Northern India. The rice flakes are soaked in the water for a few minutes. Curry leaves and mustard are fried in hot oil, followed by vegetables. When the vegetables are tender, the flakes of rice are added and garnished with peanuts and a little coconut.
