MDH - 45g Chilli Chicken Masala (Mixed Spices)

MDH - 45g Chilli Chicken Masala (Mixed Spices) is the hand-blended spice kit behind one of India's most popular Indo-Chinese dishes — a fiery, tangy preparation that sizzles in the wok and fills the kitchen with the sharp bite of chilli and warm undertones of cumin and coriander. MDH has been crafting spice blends since 1919, and this masala carries that decades-long calibration of heat and flavour.

• Blended for Indo-Chinese Chilli Chicken
• Contains 15+ whole spice ingredients
• 45g sachet — enough for one full dish
• Product of India

The blend delivers a layered heat — upfront chilli fire rounded out by the earthy warmth of black pepper, a hint of fennel sweetness, and a subtle citrus note from dried mango powder. When tossed with marinated chicken and crisp capsicum, the masala clings to every piece and caramelises beautifully in a hot pan.

Culinary Application

Use it as the seasoning base for classic dry or semi-dry Chilli Chicken — coat marinated chicken pieces before frying, then toss with sliced onions, green peppers, and a splash of soy sauce. Equally effective as a dry rub for grilled chicken skewers or as a punchy stir-fry seasoning for tofu and vegetables.
