Hawkins - 3L Contura Pressure Cooker

The Hawkins Contura stands out with its distinctive body featuring rounded sides, which facilitate easier stirring, provide better visibility, and simplify the removal of food. Particularly suited for challenging dishes requiring frequent stirring, it emerges as the ideal cooker. It incorporates an inside-fitting lid, a safety-focused design. Safety takes center stage with the pressure-lock mechanism, akin to the security of a jetliner door. It boasts an improved pressure regulator, ensuring efficient cooking while saving fuel. The safety valve under the lid handle bar ensures that, when activated, steam is deflected downward. The gasket gets minimum exposure to steam. This thoughtful engineering not only ensures a longer lifespan but also reduces wear and tear during regular use. The stay-cool handles and a fixed, sturdy pivot integrated into the metal handle contribute to the product's longevity by minimizing stress on plastic components. It is recommended for use on gas stoves.
