Madras Curry Powder is a bold and aromatic Indian spice blend inspired by the flavors of South Indian cuisine. Known for its warm heat and rich complexity, this curry powder combines carefully selected spices to deliver a deep, well-rounded taste. Ideal for preparing curries with meat, fish, vegetables, or legumes, it enhances dishes with a distinctive spicy profile and authentic aroma, suitable for both everyday cooking and professional kitchens.
Priya recommended recipe:
a) take 500 g of cut vegetables, required salt and 2–3 tbsp of priya madras curry powder. mix well and keep aside for 15 minutes.
b) fry 2 chopped onions and green chillies in edible oil till crisp. add 3–4 tbsp butter/ghee.
c) mix the contents of (a) with (b) and add a little quantity of water / coconut milk. continue cooking on low flame till the pieces are cooked. serve hot.
optional: for better taste add few coriander leaves and mint leaves.
